QUESTION - How many people do you know who have died from Covid-19?

Earlier in the year, I read a prediction that by the end of this pandemic, every American would personally know someone who had died from this virus.
The first for me was an uncle who died from it in April. Since then, three more people in my life have succumbed to it.

So excluding people like a friend of a neighbor, or your co-worker's cousin's whom you've never met, how many people do you personally know in your life have been taken by Covid-19?

Retired teacher, widowed, terrific guy.
My daughter and grandson had it but recovered, although it’s been 2 months she still tires easily (the boy is fine). The rest of the family including DH and myself tested negative.

14 and 4. Although two of the 14 have not been tested. They assumed they had it since the symptoms were there (fatigue, loss of taste, shortness of breath etc.). I tried to convince one to get tested to confirm before he went back to work. That was last week, I haven't spoken to him to find out if he did it yet.

although the county infection rate is going up. The closest I come is the son of a friend who came down with it way back in March but seems to have recovered. Otherwise, it's relatives of friends.

Other homeless people. Many have just disappeared. Some, more than likely, went to the desert to keep away from people. Others, I hope, have been put in motels and hotels throughout the city. But the possibility is great that some are no longer with us.

tumor that VP Biden son, and senators Kennedy and McCain had. That mean I lost four friends to a rare and incurable cancer that for most is death within two years. One of those friends was my only child. I did a great job raising him because it was his request that his brain be donated to the Ivy Tumor Center at Barrow here in Phx.

Mom from lung in 2001 and Dad from pancreatic in 2016. But to have my son and three friends all have the same brain cancer (two diagnosed in 2018 and and then two diagnosed in 2019) and then pass this year was tough.

My husband and I have both tested positive for Covid, and we're waiting on the results for three others in the house. Four of us have mild symptoms; the other person has no symptoms. I was the first person to get sick and I have no clue where I picked it up. I always wore a mask when I left the house.
