This was pre-Proud Boy, Infowars days. Michael Hastings, the journalist who died in a car crash, was on a panel in the building where I was volunteering. Hastings had met Biggs when he was a soldier in Afghanistan and had put him on the guest list. Biggs lived in Charlotte at the time. I remember I had to go hunt down Hastings because I couldn't find Biggs' name.

There was a lot of speculation and conspiracy theories going around after Hastings' death and Alex Jones , who Biggs hadn't even heard of (he'd just gotten back from Afghanistan) kept harassing him on Twitter to come on his show. Biggs did and showed what a white supremacist asshole he truly is.
