me! Im done! She yelled in the grocery store after she got her booster shot. Someone must have called the cops because they were coming in the store.
This happened yesterday I caught the tail end of it and another customer filled me in. 🤦♀️ I wish I could talk to these people. I would explain that no one likes wearing a mask. Then again no one likes having a machine breath for them either. You decide. Fool
.. Did you ever wonder if these people smoke cigarettes? Ok Ill get a life tomorrow

(969 posts)They are extremely safe (probably the safest vaccines ever) and the overwhelming scientific consensus is they are highly effective at preventing serious COVID, but a person can still have "silent" or "soft" COVID and transmit it by not wearing a mask. Breakthrough cases are _extremely_ rare but happen often enough that we aren't quite out of pandemic status yet.
Your mask protects me and my mask protects you. We'll still need to wear masks even when we're on our Nth booster due to silent/soft COVID; maybe even forever.
Thank you everyone here for continuing to take masking and COVID seriously.

(2,996 posts)Most normal people are not going to wear masks forever. Sounds like a goddamn nightmare to me. We need to just get everyone vaccinated and get back living life. I just got my booster and have no intention of continuing to live in fear.

(969 posts)"Everyone 2 years or older who is not fully vaccinated should wear a mask in indoor public places.
In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings. In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system may not be fully protected even if they are fully vaccinated. They should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask, until advised otherwise by their healthcare provider.
If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection and prevent possibly spreading COVID-19 to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission."
Given that a disgusting number of people are selfish and unvaccinated, this means you should pretty much be wearing your mask at all times, even outdoors.
Your mask protects me and my mask protects you. Do not be selfish and dangerous.

(2,343 posts)Being extremely uncomfortable around people, it helps me relax a little. I'm not looking forward to when the masks go away. I guess I could keep wearing mine, but I'd look a little odd.
