Let's make DAMN sure that "Moscow 8" label sticks like glue. MAKE THIS FOLLOWS THEM EVERYWHERE TIL THEYRE DRUMMED OUT OF CAPITOL HILL.
DONT let any of these miserable scheming traitors EVER get away from that branding.
This must follow each of these double-dealing traitors for the rest of their careers (hopefully soon to be permanently up-ended).
The Moscow Eight: Sens. Richard C. Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Hoeven (N.D.),
John Neely Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), John Thune (S.D.) and Johnson, plus Rep.
Kay Granger (Tex.).
They must be LAMINATED to that title. Okay DNC. WHERES the attack ad campaign??? Lincoln Project - where are YOU GUYS??? Wheres YOUR attack ad?

(84,743 posts)Just exactly WHERE do your loyalties lie, Moscow 8?
As you were busily FRATERNIZING WITH THE ENEMY???

(84,743 posts)They need to face questions EVERY time each and every damn detestable one of them appears at some press gaggle: Just exactly WHERE do your loyalties lie, Moscow 8?
When you were over there on their turf, having a nice visit? Sharing tea and sympathy? Maybe letting a few secrets slip - either accidentally OR intentionally? As you were busily FRATERNIZING WITH THE ENEMY???
How do the American people EVER trust you again??? Now that we know youre open and accessible to THE AVOWED ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - our beloved country and leader of the free world, for whom generations of GENUINE patriots fought and died???
Rub their noses in it, from now til the (hopefully sooner than expected) END of their political careers?

(84,743 posts)so shes vulnerable this November and every other November from here on.
The other seven are Senators who have six-year terms. I dont know where these scumbags are, in that rotation. If this November, HIT EM HARD with attack ads. If its NOT this November, DO IT ANYWAY. And KEEP running attack ads periodically, working up to whenever their re-election years come up. To soften up and pick apart and dissolve their support, so they, too, will be voted out of office.
How bout instead of the Moscow Eight, we turn that into EIGHT New Democrats?

(93,822 posts)Would come to Montana early enough to matter, we could oust the traitors who inhabit much of our state government. Especially if they are all indicted for seditious activity and attempted coup or whatever send them to prison.
Among those I can identify off the top of my head are:
Steve Daines - fmr House Rep; incumbent Jr. Senator
Gregg Gianforte fmr House Rep; current Governor
Matt Rosendale fmr State legislator; current House Rep.
Austin Knudsen current State AG
All of them have filed lawsuits and voted to destroy this country and support the coup, I hope they all suffer serious legal consequences for their participation.
If there were a little more attention to Democratic interests in the state when it counts, this could change and not all that slowly.

(93,822 posts)Serious attitude change on that point and right away.

(24,098 posts)We've had wonderful Democratic leadership in MT over the years. Unfortunately we have been recently taken over by right wing extremists...the worst of the worst. They must be purged. With our increased population, we have a new house seat up for grabs...if Ryan Zinke gets elected, universe help us.

(84,743 posts)And keep watch on the ones that still are. Things can change.
The more pictures we get back from the war front...
the more photos of now-homeless children and the fearful mothers trying to evacuate them;
the more photos of wreckage from bombings-of-choice - DELIBERATE and PLANNED destruction by Russia, aiming to "soften up" the target and break the target's will;
the more photos of fires and destruction;
the more photos of the wounded;
the more video of the dead;
the more photos of the totally wrecked landscape where there were neighborhoods and kindergartens and shops and schools and hospitals and apartment buildings - and churches (OKAY, "Religious RIGHT" - WHERE are YOU??? Whaddya say????);
This will continue. And it MAY change a few minds. But we shouldn't wait for that. This is NOT the time to "remain hopeful." These are enemies in our midst, right this minute, as long as they stand with Russia, and make excuses for the Russians, and don't actively speak out and work AGAINST Russian interests.

(84,743 posts)It has to be spelled out. They have to be named. And their deeds and biases EXPOSED.
WHERE are the attack ads?
Who's the milquetoast jerk who's heading the DNC? For whom that job was a consolation prize because he LOST his election? Is our party really being led by a loser? Who decided to throw him that unearned political life preserver?
I looked it up:
https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/21/politics/jaime-harrison-dnc-chair/index.html
CNN
Former South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Jaime Harrison has officially been elected the next chair of the Democratic National Committee, winning the organizations election after President Joe Biden selected him for the top political job.
"Harrison, who unsuccessfully ran for the Senate in 2020, will now be asked to guide the top committee at a time when Democrats have control of all three key bodies in Washington, the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives."
Oh great. So we give a guy who LOST an election the chance to lead our party. Fabulous.
"Harrisons task, unlike that of his predecessor Tom Perez, will be to act as a megaphone for Democratic accomplishments in the coming years and push back against Republican attacks, all in the hope that the party avoids losing its majorities in the 2022 midterm elections."
He failed in South Carolina so hey, let's put him in charge of our whole party??? Gee whiz, I'm impressed... NOT!!!!
And all that lofty talk from him? With all due respect, WHERE is it? I haven't seen OR heard OR read Word-One. He's not generating any news. He's not holding any press conferences. Where are his interviews on the radio, TV, cable, print? Where are his public gestures, speaking engagements, public political engagements? He needs to be OUT THERE, MAKING NOISE!!!! WHERE is the NOISE??? Where is HIS leadership? How is he showing open, public support for President Biden, and talking EVERYWHERE, to ANY microphone, about standing behind our President as he unites the world against Vladimir Putin's war of aggression and war of choice?

(20,541 posts)They proved it ON OUR NATIONS BIRTHDAY: The FOURRH OF JULY, for Petes sake! INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!
OUR Independence Day. They were in fucking RUSSIA on Americas national birthday. They were spending that day with an avowed and repeatedly-proven ENEMY of the United States of America. A country whose government wishes us ill and would love to see our government overthrown. Something we saw attempted in 2020 when their puppet, djt, failed to win re-election so he could finish the job (finishing US as Russias principal rival nation, that is). And you evidently did it on your own, not sanctioned or approved or formalized by our government, or dispatched on our behalf.
If thats not heresy, apostasy, and high treason, I frankly dont know what is.
And they need to answer for that. And do it RIGHT NOW.
Hang it around their miserable treasonous necks like a big neon scarlet letter sign. You help, or otherwise give aid and comfort to, Russian interests? Then you sure aint standing for OURS.

(84,743 posts)They need to know, and be repeatedly told, that theyre standing with a WAR CRIMINAL. You want THAT kind of charge leveled at YOU, TOO, Republicans???
And in my opinion, that needs to be shoved in their faces REPEATEDLY. Relentlessly. And with no hesitation. This is now a simple are-you-or-arent-you choice. Either youre WITH us or youre AGAINST us and FOR Putin.
Whats it gonna be, GOP?

(84,743 posts)Add them in, too!
And why not? What would THEY do, if the situation were reversed?
As LBJ once said, "MAKE 'EM DENY IT." As I understand that (and I've been thinking about it, A LOT, to try to!), it's about forcing the opposition to be on the record about it. From a DEFENSIVE position, NOT an offensive one. Put 'em on defense and KEEP 'em on there. On video, audio, and in print. So we can refer back to it at any time.
"Leningrad Laurie" and "Moscow Marge" sounds about right to me!
