He's so calm, so confident, so measured, so intelligent.

(22,819 posts)I was hoping he might be Biden's choice for AG (he may have been on the short list but turned it down)
Whatever, I am so glad he is in the House now!!!

(18,274 posts)He has national visibility. He certainly presents himself as a leader and statesman. He would be a credible Presidential candidate- although I can't recall him saying that he wants to do that.
But he's certainly made the most out of being a Congressman.

Ryan has been urging Fox to get away from Trump. Their main star, Chris Wallace is happily chatting on CNN. Steve Smith has a great fact filled show on CNBC.

(34,519 posts)I'm sorry, but that line really infuriated me. It's OK to call tfg out for the criminal he is, but if you can't bring yourself to do that, then leave the entire sentence out next time. The inability to be direct and straightforward is why so many Americans are so freaking confused. Stop being so damn nice and start calling the republicans out!

(17 posts)He said "If we don't impeach him, Trump will not stop!"
And he was 100% correct.
The first time I heard Trump speak, I thought "How can anyone believe this guy? His stupidity is almost fascinating, but clearly
he has no idea what he's talking about and he's an idiot."
But who could have guessed we'd end up here?
Thank God the Dems are doing something to stop him, but Trump started the ball rolling for every racist in this country.

(3,648 posts)I like Schiff, I think he is a honorable, moral person who also happens to be a great lawyer and doesn't give a fu^&c about the crap republicans do, he will scare the crap out of republicans, and he is young.
Although I like Biden, I believe Schiff would be a grate for 2024 giving him the opportunity for Democrats to keep the presidency for 12 years in a row. He will also know how to deal with Manchin and Sinema, the oil companies and all the grifters who are hurting the economy. He represents toughness so that may also bring some republicans into voting for him.

(2,574 posts)to express his thoughts eloquently, succinctly, and accurately, seem almost supernatural.
I'd support him for any office he ran for, and would like to see him run for POTUS should President Biden decline to run in 2024.

(42,770 posts)Is too monotone? For a politician & influencer that is. I find myself zoning out. I think he uses the same cadence and volume for " pass the salt" as he does for " hey watch out that piano's going to fall on your head". Lol
