What do republicans have to say about the attempted assassination of the Speaker?

When In the hell will enough be enough? Are we going to allow them to sacrifice someone on our side before we put a stop to it.

Rand Paul was in a dispute with his neighbor. Not political. While violence is not the way to solve problems, it wasn’t a planned attack, it was an outburst.

Not the same as this guy coming to kill speaker Pelosi

similar. I don't know what the subject of the MTG tweet was and can't find the DU thread which was not primarily about MTG but this has bugged me ever since we heard about the attack on Paul Pelosi. I'm not normally a tin foil hat type, but I'd like to rule out this as anything other than an unrelated coincidence.

Does this ring a bell with anyone who might have seen what I am referring to?
