(61,033 posts)I've had MSNBC on. I must add that Stephanie Ruhle did cover it tonight briefly before the rest of the show was Carlson and McCarthy.

(29,304 posts)Everything is very dramatic: Deadly attack, deadly air turbulence, deadly storms. Way too much national weather. They send their reporters out to ask questions of tornado survivors, "How did you feel, were you scared?" "Yes, I was scared." Yesterday, it was snowy California: "Is it hard for you?" Silence, finally, "Yes ....................... it's tough." Sigh.
My husband can only take a little of the deadly bad news before leaving the room.

(11,121 posts)Still the second most prominent story now with a picture of one of the victims on the front page.
Seems like MSNBC is be weird. Maybe they think their viewers are super interested in the Fox stuff?
I've kept up with Fox story via an article here and there once a day, but I cannot imagine watching hours of coverage.

Tragic happening.
I traveled widely as a tourist throughout Mexico in the 80's and 90's and most Mexicans are/were a friendly, gentle people.
I would not go there today, even to an area that claims good security.

(58,785 posts)Guess we should be grateful 2 were alive to be rescued from an isolated shack where they were being hidden. It appears the two died in the hijacking when their vehicle was sprayed with gunfire. A local woman over a block away was also killed.
