Asking voters at some diner in “the heartland” what they think. Spoiler alert: usually a conservative.

it's usually surrounds what RWers think and feel, which is always the same answer.

Democrats are diverse in their thinking and feelings and that is more inclined to "freedom".

The poster never said anything about not watching CNN. But don't let that fact stop a good smear, eh? I guess slavish devtion to big corporate media blinds one from honestly debating a topic.

But they're coming off more like Faux Lite.

News Flash CNN: Take a cue from Ronald DeeSantis, being "lite" anything comes off as fake and phony.

and/or close (first and last impressions) with quotes/clips from Republican politicians/spinners, often without comment or blowing off deceit. And of course editing Democratic quotes to eliminate facts people need to know to understand.

It's done more, and much more obviously, abandoning the normal sneaky subtlety, around elections and other high-attention times. PBS Evening News was using every trick blatantly during the first impeachment period, routinely beginning and ending coverage with Republican congressional clips without comment; we'd only started noticing public television had been taken over after Gwen Ifil died so don't know when it had been taken over. But Judy Woodruff presided over it all. We left.
