Was that you behind that fluffy white beard? And yes, don't park in handicapped spaces and don't block them by parking too close. My wife is in a wheelchair and we see jerks doing this all the time. Can't even get her in her wheelchair because someone has parked in the blue area next to the parking spot. We were at the doctor's office and one of the employees was the culprit! Oh, we had a few words with that employee and the office manager! I was full on Karen that day, lol. But seriously, who blocks a handicapped space but a selfish jerk?

I have a few in my dresser from back when I was on the executive board with Council 61.

When we lived in Lincoln (1994-2000), we hosted a cocktail reception at our home in 2000 prior to a Jefferson Jackson dinner that year, where former Senator ( and former Governor)Kerrey attended, along with Ben Nelson who was running for-- and would win--the Senate, and JFK' s speechwriter, Ted Sorensen. That was a kick, but I've never been as close as you were to the power behind the Office of the President!
