How will getting thrown in the slammer help Trump?

This is the biggest question the media has to deal with today, apparently.

Sure his loon base will be pissed, but they already are.

What would do him well is a Friday - Monday morning stint in lockup.

Anything less than a overnight stay won't accomplish anything but give him boasting rights.

but I just don't know how it helps him. Of course, nothing works how it should in terms of Trump, unfortunately.
