I definitely get the feeling that someone out there has material on so many of these GOP jokers.
Why else go public with this kind of thing? She could have stayed quiet. She's not going to be VP. She gains nothing from going public with this, and (I think) loses credibility/integrity, which implies that there was some other reason for her to go public with this kind of info.
She chose not to say "my vote is private" or to just stay quiet. She chose to announce that she'll vote for trump. Who benefits? Not her. So what lever was used to motivate her to do this to her own detriment? It must be something worse than the damage she inflicts on herself by announcing this.
Which is too bad. She's GOP trash, but I thought MAYBE she was clean GOP trash.

(753 posts)I dont think she was threatened. I think she was given a sweet
Offer from the devil. Her next move will be to convince her supporters to fall in line.
She is a trashy traitor. And her husband is in the service
To boot.
She is not worthy of serving in government.
I am very, very upset at the state of things here and around the world. Such a mess.
Shes hoping to be a possible candidate for 2028. If she doesnt join the clown show, she may be dropped. Shes planning on him winning.

(52,130 posts)Sadly, however, I'm not surprised.
She must have been delusional when she pointed out the tragic outcome of 45's failed policies. Now she jumps onboard.
Hypocrisy and Betrayal... Perhaps she believes that she can continue to be a player if she tugs her forelock. Does she really believe in the hate that this man has smeared her and her husband with? Apparently she does.
Disgusting.

(8,723 posts)She must be worried that Biden will benefit from her anti-Trump campaign; that all those people who voted for her when she was still active in the primaries, and then continued to vote for her after she dropped out, would either vote for Biden in November, or simply not vote for Trump.
That would, of course, make her about as welcome in the Republican Party as Liz Cheney; a definite career ender.
It's funny how Republicans put personal gain above country again and again.
But don't you concern yourself Nikki, Trump will forgive and forget.

(42,459 posts)With about 10 people, maybe more, and they all said they would now vote for Biden. If thats any indicator, then her position on trump backfired.
Why is it with these people that everything backfires? Blowback.
Every single time. The Alito thing is another beautifully timed backfire.
They are so pleased to shove their policies down everyones throat, but once they do that, they have no plan. They just cant see over that hill.

(35,624 posts)so I assume she's just getting her ducks in a row for 2028. And she is a republican - she's anti-choice, she wants to raise the age to collect social security, etc. So, very typical. There was no way she was ever going to vote for Biden - so she just stated the obvious.

(17,400 posts)Anyone who's ever worked in corporate America knows unquestioning loyalty to the organization, parroting the company line no matter how immoral or absurd, and always, always following orders are what it takes to get ahead. Haley - like Rubio, Cruz, Graham, DeSantis and all the rest - knows if she doesn't kiss Trump's ring at this moment, she'll have no future in the Republican party. The big money corporate interests who run the party will make sure of that.
