(21,874 posts)And I thiknk Netanyahu is doing long term damage to Israel. He's a far right figure who's blood thirsty. His handling of this war is isolating Israel. For the first time in my life I can envision a world where no country will help Israel anymore, and that's all because of Netanyahu and the other far right extremists in his government.
Israel cannot exist in it's current form without the support of the Western World, that support is very much in jeopardy now.

(46,802 posts)waged by Bibi and his band of RW religio-loon fascist supporters. The same goes for the terrorist goon Hamas leadership. The Gazan people had legitimate grievances, but Hamas engaged in terrorism from the start, and continue to engage in war crimes as well.
A pox on both groups of leaders and any of their soldiers and/or allies who commit war crimes and/or terrorism.

(26,314 posts)either have a Security Council veto or be Muslim and hide under the shade of Islamophobia and grievance culture virtually no matter how heinous one is.
Otherwise the suggestions (if any) on how the war is to not be considered "criminal" come from someone on Fantasy Island with a head injury.

(34,704 posts)I do think Bibi has a right (actually an obligation as leader) to defend his country from terrorists or any other attacks. However, I'm having a very hard time w/all the death of innocent bystanders. It is not the fault of the average child or grandmother that a terrorist hides behind them (I assume said terrorists are heavily armed & pretty much do what they want - including pushing around civilians).
Sinwar - the architect of the Oct. 7 attack - had better be tried for war crimes as well.
