"In the last two years, President Joe Biden grabbed the oil markets by the throat and shook them. Hes not just lowered the price that Americans are paying for gas as they head out on summer vacation, he has sent a shockwave of fear through OPEC leaders like Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman and Russian President Vladimir Putin."

(20,976 posts)He's been playing 3D chess from the get go.
He got more accomplished for regular Americans than I ever imagined 10 times over.

(2,304 posts)President of my lifetime, given the insane nature of the opposing party and their stacked court system. I absolutely love the man and am so honored to have met him at local Democratic barbecues back in the day. He's doing Delaware proud!

(83,433 posts)NOBODY compares. And only the Democratic Presidents come close. And President Obama probably stands tallest among them because of the barrier he broke as our first President who wasn't just another white guy.

(2,772 posts)a way that an average American can understand (not sure how to put that without sounding elitest) but that can be absorbed by hurried Americans
.
I read about this last week and I am fascinated by it. But I have time to understand it and I come from the business world a slight advantage there maybe.
Somehow I see the right twisting it like they did gore and the internet thing.
But there has to be a way!

(6,736 posts)He's demonstrated that he should have 4 more years to show just how good a President he's been, and will continue to be.
Democrats need to improve their messaging.

(20,741 posts)too complicated for media so they just don't report it. Also - it is good news, which they don't like.

(49,533 posts)and I am surprised it hasn't received more exposure. It is a great story. I think he called the segment, "How Biden broke OPEC", or something like that.

(36,144 posts)It's quite another to know how to get it done in D.C. in time to matter.
Biden knows.

I'm on the email lists for some of the executive departments such as State and constantly impressed by the good news and competence in their news bulletins.
What a beautiful contrast to TFG's bunch of incompetent misfits!

(12,112 posts)This is a very big deal for our economy. Biden gets it done for all of us. And once again, the mainstream media has failed us.

(90,749 posts)On Biden are those about his age and they aren't doing all that well with the campaign. They are scared shitless of Biden's abilities and knowledge. He KNOWS all the world players and the stink on their shit, he has a labyrinth of conditions and agreements to navigate yet he seems to know the path through the maze and his opponents can't seem to land a punch as they take wild swings at him along his route. And that's what will save us from ourselves. He's the good dad we, as a country, need.
He's the best person we could have in that office at this moment, just as powerfully important as Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House her last term in that role. We are truly lucky to have these people here and that's what makes me think we can get through this harsh time and still be standing. Standing though with tatters showing.
We can do this but we have to avoid being taken in by the bullshit thrown at us in large volumes.
