NO ONE HAD TO SAY A WORD.

NO ONE HAD TO SAY A WORD.

CNN’s carefully considered FRAMING & LIGHTING design effectively conveyed the intended perceptions of fragility vs. dominance in visual composition.

Biden was filmed in profile, looking pale as a ghost.

Trump was filmed straight on, not looking his usual shade of tangerine, but more like marmalade.

Biden is a man of honor, integrity, resilience, and resolve.

A Trump is a Trump is a Trump

CNN did this.It was a set up from the start.

CNN throughout the debate referred to trump as president. We have one President and that is Joseph Biden.

That was a deliberate slap in the face to every Democrat. tfg’s title is Mr Trump.

what that would sound like, a moderator asking a question like this:
"Mr. Convicted Felon Rapist, will you accept the election results?"

Really? Would the public view that as professional? Our side would be the one to suffer the consequences of something so ridiculous.

I think we probably have other more important issues to address than what title a moderator uses to address someone on TV, especially when they used the correct ones in the first place.

Don’t play games with me. The felon should have been addressed as Mister. Period. He is about to be sentenced for 34 felonies that he was found guilty for. Another court in Georgia for election interference, then another in Florida, the most important case on record, espionage. Our countries most sensitive data.

IMO, it was the moderator's weakness towards Trump that made it look like some of what the tweet describes. His lies were such nonsense-- the abortion BS for just one item. How on earth could a news station let such utter crap go unchallenged. It did make me wonder if it was preferential treatment.

That wasn't a debate about our government, policies, or laws. It was an episode of the Trump show. Shame on a news station for airing such lies

It has been years since I have seen Trump's face any color other than tangerine or yellow orange. His make up last night was perfect - it made him look healthy. On the other hand - Biden came out looking a white-grey color - it was shocking. The video of Biden right after the debate at the Waffle House showed his skin a completely different color as do the videos of his performance today. My understanding is that the tv station does the make up. How did they make Biden look so white grey and dead looking without knowing what they were doing?

She cannot believe that they did not give Joe a bit of color before the debate.
She says a bit of blush and some eyebrow color would have been perfect.
And just a bit of color to his hair.

He has been changing his look all year, from orange to some kind of pink or beige. He got himself a new hairdo, and quite frankly, he looks better, anyway. No doubt plenty of makeup is involved, but he has time for that, considering he isn't as busy as President Biden. I hate the bastard, but he is improved. I think that is why he looked better, and it is not a CNN conspiracy. He's probably on a diet, too, but hasn't given up fast food.

bad days but are smart, quick-thinking and fare better than lots of younger folks.

Although, I did wonder how his voice had recovered so quickly the next day while suffering from the cold! I want some of that medicine! It works! I love President Biden and he has my vote no matter how old he is.

1 minute of Trump, 5 minutes of fact checking and moderators trying to explain to Trump his made up 'facts' weren't appropriate for a serious debate.

he should have been. Many times he was addressing the moderators who were on the right side of the camera. On TV you have to look at the audience - the camera not people in the room. Trump has had years and years of experience doing this. And Biden should have been coached to do it too.

Speaking of the Biden debate team: They made a big - huge - mistake asking for Biden to be on the right side of the set and therefor the right side of the "double box" during the broadcast. TV stations and networks all know that you put your on-air talent, anchors, hosts almost always on the left side and the guest on the right. The left side is a position of authority, the position where the questions are being asked the position of the person who is the leader of their show. If you don't believe me just watch any local or network broadcast.

Mr. Biden's team won a coin toss, CNN reported, which allowed them to determine either who gets to make the closing argument or where the candidates stand on the stage. The president's team chose his position on the stage, selecting the lectern on the right. That decision tees up Trump to cap the night with closing arguments. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/first-presidential-debate-biden-trump-structure-prep/

There was no secret hidden lighting to show Biden looking "older" either.
