Dude is liked in a deep Red State, plus he is out of reelection.. He be perfect.

Names like Kelly and Shapiro make no sense.. We lose a Senate seat with one, and the other is basically a political no name 107 days left.

so we wouldn't lose the seat right away. We also seem on course to win a Senate election this year.

Fill that opening until the next General election, I would rather know a Dem have that seat until 2029 tbh.

I honestly don't trust Arizona right now.

Who works for the DNC. The rumors in their circles are Roy Cooper. I worry about him because he dismissed the Duke lacrosse team rape case. Does anyone have info about that? That could be a problem?

Cooper did the right thing by dismissing it. He did well.

In my opinion, Andy isn’t ready for National politics. I think he’s got a future in National politics but this isn’t that time. I’m hearing Kentucky dems want him to run for McConnell or Paul’s seat. He’d win in a landslide.

Kentucky is going to Trump. So, the rationale would be that he is a white guy with a good record of governance. But there are others who fit that description who have the bonus of being in swing states and with somewhat more compelling stories.

Moreover, Kentucky isn't a big media state. He is untested. We have absolutely no idea how he'd fare in a debate with Vance, his positions on foreign policy, and the scrutiny he'd receive with reporters beyond local Kentucky people.

We're already in an unprecedented situation, so I am not willing to experiment in this regard.
