We're really going to win this, aren't we?

I’m not one to get overconfident, and I don’t want to take anything for granted, but this is the most excited I’ve been about our chances since 2008.

I always had some optimism in 2012, 2016 and 2020, but this feels different. 2012, I felt we had it after the Romnesia comment and after Sandy. 2016, I thought we could do this, but both candidates just got hated on badly. 2020, with the COVID response, a deeply unpopular incumbent and people just not hating his Democratic opponent as much this time around, I felt we could win, and we did.

2024, you can’t use the old and senile argument anymore, many people are energized at the Democratic alternative, Vance looks like a dumpster fire and people just won’t vote for TFG no matter who the opponent is.

I believe.

But I do agree with you. This feels very much like it did in 2008 in the run up to the election. Let's hope it works out the same way.

painting with broad strokes you have it right.

We must cater to the middle as well as the left.

It's about 100 days of effort. Policy must be included, it's not just Roe and DEI.

We must continue to define Trump and not just bash with turns of phrases.

We'll se how damaging the current bullshit said about Harris is and more importantly, the one they're working on for the future. Also the VP pick will also be very important.

Whoever she picks will be a good messenger, better than what they have.

Again, I don’t assume we’re going to win. I’m aware we have to work and show up to vote, but this is the most optimistic I’ve been in years.

Since the overturning of roe v. Wade, women have been mobilizing.

With the attack on Books and their banning, Librarians and others are mobilizing.

With PROJECT 2025 getting more media attention, people are becoming more mobilized and reading it.

With Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket now, EVERYONE is getting mobilized.

If there is any doubt voters are not going to vote to SAVE this country, the MAGA Republicans have another thing coming. They underestimate the excitement Kamala Harris brings to the race, they will be in for one hell of a reckoning. The time has come to REALLY clean their clocks.

I’d rather be us right now.
Good trajectory. Trump got zero bump from being shot at ish and none from convention.
We’ll get a bump from:
Obama Endorsement plus others.
VP pick
Olympics will help us I think
Convention
September trump will be sentenced.
So we really just need to stay enthusiastic and stay on message.
Freedom, freedom, freedom

I’m feeling confident and relieved but we can’t slow down. This is too important of an election for us to be overconfident. Keep fighting without letting up.

2008 felt great but I was never sure we would win. I was at the Dem party party in Sacramento that night with a glass of whiskey in my hand crying as they called it.

This feels like by election night I might even feel sorry for my misguided fellow Americans...not really.

She is doing quite a bit better than Biden in the battlegrounds and what you like to see in a campaign is upward momentum/trend - which she has. And we haven’t had the convention yet or picked a VP.

She’s tied in Wisconsin.

than I did five days ago at this time. But, as many have and will continue to point out, we can't take a victory for granted. I have a magnet that was sent to contributors by the DNC in the summer of 2016. It has a picture of Hillary on it and the words "Madam President." Even they thought it was in the bag. So, we must certainly be positive and celebrate the moment, but we cannot forget to do the work.

We’ve got better messengers, we’re more enthusiastic, millions of people will never vote trump, don’t want a convicted felon and don’t want Project 2025.

If President Biden never dropped out, I’d be more worried.
