I just can't be optimistic yet even though I should be, have so little faith in the American public, am paranoid that after all the whining about Biden being too old that now the torch has been passed it won't make that much difference anyway. I hate summer, too damn hot.

No matter what, Joe Biden did not do this for nothing. If it only revitalizes this country, the young people, the women, the POC, then it's done more than anyone would have believed.

Joe Biden is a patriot, in all ways you can mention. No patriot's sacrifice is in vain, as long as we carry on the fight, win or lose. And we're fighting, you better believe it. We're going to win, you better believe it.

Joe Biden was chosen in 2020 because he was experienced and stable. He had vast foreign policy experience. He had allies on both sides of the aisle at that time. He was respected around the world. He was the safe bet to defeat Donald Trump, the wannabe autocrat.

Joe did his job masterfully and will go down in history.

It is now time for a new general to lead the battle. That would be Kamala Harris, the first woman president.
