Hello from the Philippines.

I got my 13a Visa last week, affording me permanent residency.

We are still trying to figure out our move to PH. It’s mostly our job situation holding us back. Not quite ready to retire and wife wants to keep working here for awhile longer. But eventually we are coming!

until you reach retirement age, as my wife and I did. Save up in a 401k and build a nice pension. in addition to your Social Security. The costs here are one fifth the US. The weather is great.

Earn money in the US and spend it in the Philippines.

Btw, Im well over retirement age but my wife is significantly younger so she’s not close to retiring. So that’s a bit of an issue for us. She still wants to work so maybe we can start a small business there once we move. She wants to stay busy.

It's mostly white, older voters in both states.

That makes the polling even more impressive.

pretty pessimistic. The only new political sign I had seen was a giant Trump flag hanging off a fence on the main drag. (There are idiots everywhere.) I imagine the Harris signs will be popping up like daisies.

Wow! I think Biden was in a lot more trouble than people here wanted to accept. Harris is just starting, but it appears she is starting out tied overall, but her path to the White House is much easier than Biden's. Not defending in Main or New Hampshire is really big.

It is also awesome news that we seem to be acknowleding polls as a source of data again. We need to monitor them osely this next hundred days and squeeze every inch of vote getting that we can.

For years, I've been wondering why NH doesnt vote solidly blue like Vermont does.

It's usually blue, but never solid. The numbers are more like Nevada, about the same size and always close.

when the swing state New Hampshire, which we thought was going to be fairly safe for Hillary that year, didn't come in right away for her, my stomach dropped. I just KNEW at a cellular level that she would lose. I turned off the TV and told my husband she was going to lose and I couldn't watch anymore. He thought I was exaggerating. But I just knew.
