Breaking News: The Associated Press removes a fact-check claiming JD Vance has not had sex with a couch

So the Associated Press isn’t sure. Maybe J D Vance didn’t have sex with a sofa, but maybe he did.

The media must spend as much time on this story as they did on Biden’s age. After all, aging really isn’t news, but a candidate for Vice President who once had carnal knowledge with his couch definitely is.

as a news org you can't say that JD Vance has never had sex with a couch. you can only say that the source of the claim was fake, or that JD Vance claims xyz. allow the public to come to their own conclusions, including but not limited to the type of couch, the color, etc
