He wasn't shot. He was shot *at*, which is different. A bit of debris hit his ear and created a small bit of blood. No wonder they are keeping the medical reports secret.

I think Dr. Phil has better credentials than Dr Oddman. What the good doctor is forgetting is there is this rather rigid protective structure around the brain called the skull. It keeps minor flesh wounds from causing damage to the brain.

The "military" people are talking out their asses as well.

Pig's ears, with an argument this is a good substitute for human ears and the damage is way less than you'd expect because a thin object provides for less energy transfer from the projectile

Probably a case of different gun nuts doing different tests and getting different results. Maybe one of them is on the right track, maybe none of them are, maybe they're all setting up to get the results they want. Guess we just need to take what we see online with a healthy dose of salt

That with distance as well as velocity of a bullet coming from a high powered rifle such as an AR-15, the damage done is undescribable.
