Want a way to reach rural voters? Here it is!

JD Vance, the Hillbilly Venture Capitalist, invested in a company called Acretrader. Basically they buy up farmland so farmers can work as serfs on the land while rich investors make all the money. Do you think they might pursue policies that put family farms out of business so they can buy up the land cheap and make even more money? I’m from a rural high school and I can tell you that no one I went to high school with went to Harvard, started a Venture Capital firm and put family farms out of business with a predatory online investment platform! Who are these monsters 😡

2. And the danger is not just related to them buying out farmland and related stuff. These predatory capitalists

are running out of investments (e.g., high valuations on the markets already, hard to invest there), so they're looking around for other niche markets, and see what they can do, investment-wise in other fields. Thus, they have been investing in those fields too, trying to capitalize on those areas.

The housing market has been one area, but I have seen articles already out that such investors are taking a beating, and pulling out of these markets as a result of taking big losses (if you want my opinion, good! There is a lot of fear that they'll drive up housing prices, drive up the lack of affordable housing, etc.). Instead, these capitalists are hurting.

Families buying homes cheap after a bank foreclosed on Blackrock Capital would be so great! I think legislation will ultimately be needed to stop billionaires from buying everything and maybe more importantly, tax policy.

regulate these wanton purchases of homes in their area. The percentages of investor-led vs. families buying homes have been creeping up in some areas, but I think the housing market slowdown, has shut this down flatter than a pancake, and these investors are running for the hills, after taking some significant losses. A nice touch if you ask me.

Most people out here are at odds with our platform in a lot of different ways. Guns, immigrants, role of government, environmental regulation, LGTBQ+ rights (especially Trans rights) - what most want is close to the opposite of what we offer.

here by wealthy “farmers.” After season, they are either returned home or they live here year round in special housing supplied by the “farmers.” And the police know exactly where they are but look the other way. There is also a lot of human trafficking here. If it were not for these workers, the farms would all go bankrupt.

Probably decry “open borders” out of the other side of their mouth. Trump, who certainly uses immigrants at his resorts is one of them.

What’s sad is how hard they are worked. The average farm worker lives to the age of 41. Very inhumane.
