I have been saying over and over Vance was chosen by conservative think tanks because of his rather compelling backstory. Vance was easy to manipulate into thinking his success of breaking away from his dysfunctional childhood was because of conservative ideals (it wasn't). From there it was easy to fill him with BS talking points that he cannot for his life expand upon further than what he had been spoon fed. Vance has no critical thinking skills and gets caught in contradictions he can't understand. What a fucking disaster.
