Here's a story:

In re: Kamala’s “dating”

One of my long-term male patients came to see me one day and seemed to have something on his mind. I asked him if he was ok and he replied “Not really.”

He told me that he had a new girlfriend and they had really connected and we’re having a terrific time together and had begun talking about making it permanent, so to speak.

So the problem arose that it turned out that she had “dated” a number of guys he knew, and they were making odd remarks, I’ll leave it at that, to him.

I acknowledged his dilemma and after I completed the procedure, I said to him: hey, do you mind if I suggest something to you? Perhaps it isn’t those who came before, as long as you’re the last one. And, if these other guys had been any good, he would have been the last one rather than you.

He literally said to me, “I never would have thought of that. Thank you.”

They wound up marrying. As far as I know, it worked out…

Same for Kamala.
