I think that's completely unrealistic. He told nearly 60 of them. Countering them would have left time for nothing else.

Criticism of the moderators falls along the same lines. If they had countered all of Trump's lies, Trump would have dominated the debate even more than he already did.

I think Harris should focus on policy and counter only when a lie is blatantly obvious and can be countered without the response taking up her time.

Everyone already knows that Trump lies about everything. This should be more about Harris presenting her case to the voters.
