The election voting actually begins September 16th
https://www.ncsl.org/elections-and-campaigns/table-7-when-states-mail-out-absentee-mail-ballots#BodyMail in ballots will soon be sent by multiple states beginning September 16th in the state of Pennsylvania. And many others shortly after. The attached gives the individual states’ date on when they begin the voting.
