I advocate for and support the Ukrainian people in their efforts to oust Russia from Ukraine and regain territory stolen by Putin.
I am proud to be a member of a Democratic site that offers a Urkrainian flag as an avatar.
The Ukrainians are fighting a shooting war that we are fighting here with ballots and the courts.
Trump and Putin are two sides of the same coin.

(1,382 posts)They've having a tough time in the east and while they've fought bravely, smartly, and creatively, Ukraine is starting to be hurt by manpower shortages. There were a lot of foreign volunteers in the early days of the war. Ukraine could use that kind of help right now.

(2,272 posts)is also a big problem. President Biden should allow Ukraine to use U.S. supplied weapons to strike targets in Russia. After all, thats where Putin is staging the aircraft and missiles being used to target Ukrainians on a daily basis.
Ukraine is going to have a tough time defeating Putins aggression while fighting with one hand tied behind its back.

(28,214 posts)to prevail in this unprovoked attack by russia. I'm not going to second guess their choices.
You really can't expect to invade a neighboring country with whom you share a large border, and not have it spill over into your own country.
I'm just hoping things will work out to the maximum benefit of Ukraine.

(68,922 posts)Again in line with others, we need to supply the weapons and systems needed and let Ukraine wage its war as it sees fit.
A few hits on Ruzzian air bases and missile launch sites - and maybe one or three on prominent Moscow targets.
I think they should do it if they feel it helps them gain an edge. IMO this war is clear cut unlike the war in Gaza. Ukraine is clearly in the right.
