What can I say, some of us are just too detail-oriented not to be distracted by something like that!

I'm not going to apologize for being detail-oeiented, either. That quality served me extremely well during my working life, and I have always taken pride in it.

The internet can be a minefield of the kinds of typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors that I used to literally get paid for catching and correcting, but I've learned to let a lot of things go by. I'll never stop noticing those things, and I don't want to stop noticing them, but I've learned to go with the flow and not let them get to me. Mostly.

And I think a lot of younger people feel that they better damn well fight this battle.
