(12,011 posts)It would be like Trump agreeing to interview only on Fox. CNN is perceived as more middle of the road. It doesn't matter - she can handle it.
Self Esteem
(1,759 posts)Doing so is a sure-fire way to lose a campaign. Want to know what happens when you let emotion drive your campaign strategy? Look no further than the Republican side and you'll see it. There's no fundamental logic to what they do - just pure emotion and it's upending what was, for a time, a front-runner candidate.
I get many are frustrated with he media. I am too. But there's a reason Harris is doing an interview and it's on CNN: because her campaign knows the narrative of her ducking questions from the media will snowball into something more and start to dominate the discourse, therefore giving Trump an opening.
You're right that doing an interview with MSNBC would only lead to more criticism.
The Harris campaign knows what they're doing - way more than a bunch of randos on a forum (and I am not trying to be rude ... but they do know what they're doing).
