Kamala flip-flopping on the border wall...?

I don't pay a lot of attention to criticisms of our President to be, but have seen some allegations that she has flipped her position from being against a border wall to being in favor of a border wall. But as I read the accusations, they appear to be based on her statement to sign the immigration reform bill that Trump killed, which contains language to build some additional border wall.

The bill was apparently the best immigration reform legislation to come along in decades, had won bipartisan approval in the Senate and Biden would have signed it.

Kamala signing the bill doesn't necessarily mean she has flip flopped on her wall position...does it?

Trump is the one who killed the bill that he wanted, purely for political games.

getting all angry and freaked out, turns out it was something Congress did before he took office and Biden couldn't do anything about.

Stop.

this thread seems rather bad in that respect.

I guess I'm a bit touchy about it as I've had it happen to myself once or twice.

but please don't be deterred. We should feel free to post most any question we wish as long as it is done in good faith and consideration.

If there is a problem, it lies with them.

As a personal example, I once asked here for contact information for Justice Ruth Ginsberg with the intent of sending a word of thanks and appreciation. For that I received comments accusing me of stalking and being "creepy". It's something you don't soon forget.

It was a good bill. Trump had it killed to run on immigration.

Maintaining and strengthening some sections of existing border wall is good policy. It does not mean a continuous wall the entire length of the border --that Mexico would pay for (as in Trump's plan).
