President Joe Biden is the most pro-union and pro-jobs @potus the United States has ever had - and now, he’s a card-carrying member of the United Association.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — President Joe Biden on Friday signed an executive order for federal grants that will prioritize projects with labor agreements, wage standards, and benefits such as access to child care and apprenticeship programs.

“Economists have long believed that these good job standards produce more opportunities, better outcomes for workers and more predictable outcomes for businesses as well,” he said from an Ann Arbor, Michigan union training center where he made the announcement. “A good union job is building a future worthy of your dreams.”

The order will establish a task force to coordinate policy development with the goal of ensuring more benefits for workers. The administration’s funding for infrastructure, computer chip manufacturing and the development of renewable energy sources has led to a wave of projects.

Though he wasn’t in Michigan for a campaign event, Biden spoke on his predecessor, saying that Trump would much rather “cross a picket line than walk one.”

Union labor, Biden declared, "built the middle class. We put workers first. We invest in all of America. Everybody in America deserves one thing -- a fighting chance. That is why [Vice President] Kamala [Harris] and I are so proud of the greatest job creation record of any single presidential term in American history."

"When Trump was president, he appointed union busters to the National Labor Relations Board -- an organization that is designed to promote unions. By the way, do you think he has any damn idea what we do? I wonder whether he has any notion what a hard day's work is. All he did was lose his father's money."

"We are seeing the great American comeback story," Biden said of his administration's jobs record. "My predecessor believes America is a failing nation. He is a failing president and a failing man. He is wrong, America is not failing, we are winning."
