Timing is Everything

Here in North Carolina, our Governor's race is not exactly a nail-biter. Stein is leading in most polls, because Mark Robinson is a deeply, deeply flawed candidate. From his trying to out-Vance Vance on woman-hating, to his porn addiction, to bouncing checks for Girl Scout cookies, the man (happily) just can't win.

Well, Mr. Robinson finally put out an ad, that I saw for the first time today, that is actually well produced.

Except - from start to finish it's an ammosexual fear-mongering ad. Total gun humping. Which maybe might've helped once. But to start airing it the day after the school shooting in your neighboring state is just comically bad.

I chuckled.
