head of their home matchup against the Seattle Storm on Thursday, New York Liberty star Courtney Vandersloot arrived at the venue wearing a custom Kamala Harris T-shirt. Liberty's X handle shared snaps of Vandersloot's fit and coupled it with the caption, "The General gets it!"
WNBA fans were unhappy with Courtney Vandersloot's custom tee supporting the presidential candidate, with many citing that it's not a good practice to incorporate politics into the sport.
"Should not be political on company time. It's bad business," a fan tweeted.
"Political stuff ruins it for everybody," a fan tweeted.
"Can we just watch sports instead of everything being political," a fan tweeted.
