Shortly after the Butler earshot incident, he had the pill-pushing Ronny Jackson release a "summary" in lieu of an actual medical record or official report. Jackson mentioned in passing that a CT scan had been done as part of the post-shooting evaluation at Butler Hospital. Although obviously negative for anything specific to the shooting, I would be extremely interested in what the scan may have revealed about the general status of his brain. Given all the legitimate concerns about his cognitive decline, did the scan show evidence of anything like diffuse white matter disease, mini-strokes, etc.? You just know that if the scan was "perfect," he and his handlers would have put it out there right away. What's he hiding, and why is the media ignoring the existence of this potentially important data?

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's burning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

(16,259 posts)Dizzy Dean, the ball player, was beaned by a pitch. There was some concern and a medical examination was performed.
News headline read "X-rays of Dean's head reveal nothing".
Edit to add: Dizzy was not hit by a pitch. He was struck by an errant throw while base running.

(2,527 posts)The initial scan showed what appeared to be a family of squirrels chewing through wires in the frontal lobe, and hundreds of bees buzzing around the rest of the cranial area. There was the appearance of normal brain matter in a lower section, roughly the size of a walnut. Medical staff agreed not to reveal this finding at this time.

(15,277 posts)Ronny Jackson is a cypher in all of this. I am not suggesting that he be questioned about it. We are all familiar with HIPAA. However, when a man with obvious cognitive impairment is itching to get his finger on the nuclear button and is bent on establishing an authoritarian autocracy, I would think there would be some discussion of an existing CT scan and pressure on him to authorize its release directly from his medical file. We deserve to know just what it is that he is hiding.

This is normal getting on in years (78) and might be his reason for acting "weird" with a bit of dementia going on.. The "crazy grandpa" syndrome.
Pics of a normal brain and a hydrocephalic brain on the right. Notice the increase of black on the right. This is an increase of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) collection taking up the space where the normal brain tissue has
"left the building"...
A thought..

(15,277 posts)If there really is a scan, and it shows significant pathology, that is huge. If there's no scan, Ronny Jackdson is guilty of a severe breach of ethics for attesting that there was one. I'm not willing to just shrug this off with "meh, there's probably not really a scan." I find the lack of curiosity about this puzzling.

(113,130 posts)They're great for tumors, cysts and bleeds but not so great at picking up very subtle changes. Most likely Jackson ordered this one because he wanted a baseline CT scan. A rrepeat scan in a couple of years will most likely show changes when compared to this one, but most likely this one was completely normal.
IOW, we haven't heard about it because right now there is nothing going on inside his head. But we knew that.

(15,277 posts)had him look over the records from when Trump was taken to Butler Hospital after the shooting and write a "summary letter" even though he was not involved in any way. He mentioned in passing that Butler's post-shooting workup included a head CT but didn't say anything else about it. Jackson's letter was clearly intended to stop people from asking to hear from the hospital ream who actually examined him after the shooting incident.
Don't you think that if the scan had been "completely normal," he would have made a point of saying so?

(113,130 posts)because even if TFG had raging Covid brain, a CT wouldn;'t have shown much, if anything. It doesn't show small clots or small infarcts.
