Vance is GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's running mate and a U.S. senator from Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University, the top rival of Michigan's Wolverines.
UM plays the University of Texas at noon Saturday in the 107,601-seat Michigan Stadium, 59 days before the Nov. 5 presidential election. Both UM and Texas are ranked among the top 10 teams nationally.
For four hours before the game kicks off, a plane will fly over the area of Michigan Stadium with a banner that reads "JD Vance 🧡 Ohio State + Project 2025," according to the Democratic National Committee.

(4,936 posts)Michigan player with a national championship ring on?
A thief. I laugh at that all the time.

(33,764 posts)But I dont recall JD ever talking about Ohio State as if it is a place he remembers fondly or a place he supports or even has visited recently except to campaign and fluff up his orange lord and master.
In his Hillbilly book he glosses over his years at Ohio State, and IIRC he kind of made it sound like anyone can get a degree there and the work wasnt that hard for him.
Maybe someone from Columbus can set me straight on that?

(743 posts)But this stuff always sort of bothers me. I think it does more harm. People go to games to enjoy themselves. I doubt many tailgates are full of political talk.
Just my opinion.
