This is 2 homes away from where you pick up Blue Dot signs. I got a Blue Dot for my neighbor and I. The Blue Dot represents NE D-2. The Blue Dot on the red Nebraska map.

Ruth Huebner-Brown, left, and Jason Brown pose with the first blue dot sign they made and posted in the front yard of their Dundee neighborhood home. People saw their sign and requested their own, leading the couple to produce hundreds.

CNN: "Blue Wall" Strategy Doesn't Work Without The "Blue Dot" -- Single Electoral Vote In Omaha, Nebraska Could Be Tie-Breaker In Razor Thin Election
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/09/04/cnn_single_blue_dot_electoral_vote_in_omaha_could_be_tie-breaker_in_razor_thin_election.html
CNN's Jeff Zeleny reports how Democrats' "blue wall" strategy doesn't work unless they also win the "blue dot," the second district of Nebraska -- one of two states that allocates electoral votes by Congressional district.
If Harris wins the swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, and Trump wins Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina, and Georgia, the area surrounding Omaha will determine the difference between Harris winning with exactly 270 electoral votes and a 269-269 tie.
JEFF ZELENY, CNN: For all the talk of the "blue wall" of winning Pennsylvania, winning Michigan, and winning Wisconsin. All those are essential for winning the White House, but that leaves you one electoral vote short.
If everything else would stay the same and the Harris campaign would win the "blue wall" states, they still need the "blue dot." The "blue dot" is found right here in Omaha, at least Democrats hope it will be. Nebraska and Maine are the only two states in the country that divide their electoral votes. That means she could win one electoral vote here in the Omaha area and not win the rest of the state and still get that one electoral vote.
Joe Biden did in 2020, Barack Obama did in 2008. So for all the talk of the "blue wall," it doesn't work without the "blue dot" from right here in Omaha.

back in the days when you could still be civil while on opposite political sides. Nowadays I wouldn't give him the time of the day. Other than being an "I'm a libertarian" dyed in the wool republican, man's an asshole.

would be our blue dot...though we don't divide electoral votes, as far as I know. We were gerrymandered out of our original district 2 years ago here in Leavenworth. I know it was to cut us Democrats from voting in this precinct. It's weird enough it got some houses and goes around others. I think I'd like a blue dot just to protest the gerrymandering that was done to us.
