What is the status of NY collecting the $500 million from Trump for all his fraud charges?

I haven’t heard anything for awhile. I don’t think the fines have gone away nor TSF has paid anything yet. I hope NY is right there if he dumps his DJT stock. If he’s going to screw his cult maybe at least some good could come from it. Although it would be great if NY got their money, dumping some worthless stock won’t cause him to suffer. I’d rather see them confiscating some of his properties.

I believe NY law requires a bond of at least 40% of the judgement before seizure of assets can be delayed, but prosecutors agreed to slightly less.

Now, since April .... {*crickets*}

I'll be amazed if he ever pays a dime of this settlement. And he'll top this off by stiffing his own lawyers.

Trump has spotlighted our Justice system's weaknesses. We need reform of our justice system.

Justice delayed is justice denied. It is too easy for the very wealthy to delay judgement indefinitely. It shouldn't take months to issue a ruling on a frivolous motion. And with the right lawyers, there is no end to frivolous motions.

A GOP strategy is to "flood the zone with bullshit". It works the same whether "the zone" is the media or the courts.
