Please be Kind

Just found out that a dear friend that I've known a couple years that has been struggling with stage 4 breast cancer died this morning.
This woman had an amazing spirit. What pains me the most is that she was such a happy and positive person, even after her diagnosis. Actually admired her for being so good natured and kind. Despite what she was going through, if she was feeling well enough and online working from home and someone said "not feeling well today" she would message them a heart and hope you feel better soon or something. You knew it wasn't fake if they are living through the bullshit and treatments and pain she was having but still care about other people. For me that makes it hurt worse. I admire kindness in people. It's really goes to the heart of why I'm a Democrat. The innate cruelty and malice of Republican ideology makes me sad. It's depressing to have so much anger towards people because of the color of their skin, where they come from or who they love.

The world has too much hate.

Everything going on right now and this just breaks me down to the frame.

Please do me a favor today: be kind. Say a kind word. A kind gesture. We desperately need the world to be a better place.
