...and she was just inaugurated. Mexico is surpassing the US in too much stuff, while we are still saddled with too many regressive Neanderthal men and women. Damn shame about those fucking cartels, however.

Kamala has a proven track record.

The fact that Kamala is easy on the eye and is super confident doesn't hurt of course. (My male perspective. lol)

Of course, the GOP will emphasise gender and race, but they know nothing other than their own vitriol.

Being backed up by a no BS straight shooter future VP by the name of Walz doesn't hurt - being POTUS is a team thing, after all.

A 20 plus year career servant, elected to DA, AG and Senator before being the VP. vs a reality tv show host that played a successful businessman on tv, but in reality went bankrupt multiple times with numerous business failures.

As well as a wet behind the ears senator, whose only job has ever been whatever Peter Thiel wants him to be.

Who’s really unqualified?

Just look at his record from his first term - glaring proof that the man isn't qualified to be a dog catcher, let alone the leader of the free world!

Seriously, some people thought that a "TV boss" is qualified?

I really don't think anybody would be allowing Hugh Laurie (Dr. Gregory House on "House" ) to perform surgery on them JUST BECAUSE he was a star on a show about a brilliant doctor. And the idea that we need a 'business man' to run the country - why in the world would you pick a FAILED (MANY TIMES!) business man to even try to prove what a bad idea that is?

Experience IN government and law is just what makes things work - when you have someone with a brain (understanding the law) and a heart (understanding people!) - you get people who do good things (Carter - Clinton - Obama - Biden).

Now it's time for HARRIS!

And some think "reality# shows are... reality. Including the one that depicted TSF as a brilliant, powerful, megarich, super businessman.

Way too many people fell for that bilge, and it's a damned shame what has happened to our country as a result.

I mean, I kind of almost get it in a way. I've gotten a bit caught up in a few reality shows myself. It's easy to do, because the producers know how to create a fake "reality" that can be very entertaining to watch. So that I get. But assuming that someone in a reality show is being depicted 100% authentically and what what I'm seeing on my screen is exactly who they are? No, no, no, that's a bridge way too far!

But a scary amount of people evidently did exactly that in the case of The Apprentice. They loved what they saw on that show and said "He, that guy right there would make a great president!" And here we are. Damn it!

We won’t be greedy, that can be single terms each, which means that in 184 years, it will be time for another man to have a turn.

It would take 184 years to catch up. That’s a crazy long time.

“-Putting patriotism ahead of partisanship is not an aspiration. It is our duty.”

-“She possesses some of the qualities of character I most respect in any individual and any leader – courage, especially at a moment like this,” said Harris. “When there are so many powerful forces intent on trying to demean and belittle and make people afraid.”

“Vice President Harris has dedicated her life to public service. I know she loves our country, and I know she will be a president for all Americans. As a conservative, as a patriot, as a mother, as someone who reveres our Constitution, I am honoured to join her in this urgent cause,” she said.

-“As we meet here today, our republic faces a threat unlike any we have faced before: a former president who attempted to stay in power by unravelling the foundations of our Republic by refusing to accept the lawful results, confirmed by dozens of courts, of the 2020 election,” Cheney said.

-“I ask you to meet this moment. I ask you to stand in truth, to reject the depraved cruelty of Donald Trump, and I ask you instead to help us elect Kamala Harris for president.”

But I loved watching them standing together while Kamala spoke. Cheney is really not effusive by nature, but she seemed happy to be there.

I’m reminded of that song, Put a Woman in Charge.

All those schemes of his - and all those megabucks behind him - foiled by two great women.

(plus a great guy like Tim Walz - whom he also hates, because people actually like him)

Looking at these pics--Kamala is 5'2". How tall does that make Cheney?
