I'm tired of the word "illegals"

Republicans try to paint all recent migrants as "illegals," regardless of actual legal status.

Asylum seekers aren't here illegally. The Haitians in Springfield, Ohio, aren't here illegally. But the right refers to all of them as "illegals."

Only recently did I realize that "illegal" is a code word for non-white. 😡🤬

What we usually see is people standing in line, filling out forms and getting a court date. That’s not illegal.

But, to the MAGA crowd, they're all “illegal” because they don’t care about details like actual legal status. They care about skin color. But they don’t want to say the quiet part out loud.
