Elon Musk at Trump rally in Butler, PA: FULL SPEECH

No single person should be in control of organizations which might bear on US national security interests in the way that Musk's companies seem currently to do. From a national security perspective, the US government and NASA might need to rethink the idea that making a private company the principle means of reaching space is a sound idea. No matter how good SpaceX may actually be, purely depending on Musk's largess and patriotism seems to be not worth the risk.

(See his alleged personal interference (related to StarLink) in the Russia-Ukraine War.)

It’s so hard to find real numbers for any of these.
