We need to flood social media with rebutals for the lies told about Helen's recovery efforts

as vigorously as the right wingers are pushing their conspiracy theories. It's starting to take hold and if we do not push back it will become a swift boating event. I am frankly stunned that there has not been a forceful pushback directly from the white house.

Sure, some newspapers have denounced it like the Washington Post. However, how many MAGATS read that? The way these people get their news is completely disconnected from the traditional media, so they won't see any rebuttal.

I really hope the democratic party has a team of young people running the media operation who know how to reach everywhere and push a message.

Trying to rebut them all would be a massive waste of time and resources.

Besides, the people who need to learn the truth never accept it, even when proof is provided. A recent study said that Trump supporters are more likely to believe a false assertion *after* it's been fully debunked than before.

Sadly, another hurricane will probably hit Florida and last weeks lies will be replaced with the lies of Post Milton. Amazing how those who claim they love freedom work so hard to do away with everybodys freedom in our country.

The main fox BS goes as follows: “Biden and Kamal aren’t doing anything, money is going to Ukraine and/or illegals instead of flood victims.”

Rebuttals are mostly: explaining how FEMA works and the time table for disbursements, your Republican House members voted against expanding FEMA funding, illegals don’t get FEMA funds, money for Ukraine is a separate thing.

Most of the dumb fox talking point posts are getting timely reality-based rebuttals.
