Neither Trump nor Musk likes to be upstaged, and you can tell that Trump is really irritated here.

One other side note (literally). Note Trump's posture here. I suffer from COPD, which means that there are times where even standing upright is hard, and I have to use any surface I can to brace myself. Trump is standing at a very unnatural angle, as if using the lectern to try to keep his balance and not succeeding very well. I know he uses lifts, but I have to wonder if he also uses braces on his legs.
