Perusing the Sunday morning news shows...

I turn on FOX and Tim Walz is the guest. It was obvious from the get go that they had primed Shannon Bream, one of their more "moderate" broadcasters, to attack and pin him down. They had researched every facet of his life to try and tear him down.

But, I assume he knew the pitfalls before he agreed to the interview? Regardless, I thought he handled himself very well, under those circumstances. Also, some folks have been recommending that Democrats go on the right-wing stations more often.

Then I flip over to George Stephanopulous and he has the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, on his program. He refused to say whether or not the Democrats were responsible for the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler Pennsylvania? He refused to say whether or not Trump lost the election in 2020?

I wanted Stephananopolous to ask him where he was on January 6th? Did he stay in the Capitol or did he evacuate? And why did he evacuate? Did he ever fear for his life?

And did he think people should just forget about that and move forward?

The deception from the Republicans is mind-blowing!

Tester has one strategy but Sheehy does no press. None at all even local. He appeared with Charlie Kirk but other than that it’s closed door events that he later promotes on social media as regular campaign event.

Avoiding all press is probably because his campaign knows he will say or do something stupid that will hurt him (Like the Native American stuff). But I think it is ultimately a big advantage to Tester who can get his policies out there while painting Sheehy as the coward he is.

I know Tester has trailed in the polls but that has been the case in most if not all of his election runs. I still think he pulls this one out.

according to his campaign.
This is Tester’s first election with Trump at the top of the ticket. There is an abortion amendment on the ballot so…. maybe that helps Tester out.

Sheehy is a particularly bad candidate and Tester has always been able to get a good crossover vote from some more moderate republicans. I'm sure it will be really close.
