The MAGAs keep running commercials about Harris funding prisoners to get sex change operations. Turns out that was also in place during the Trump administration

Cruel and unusual punishment is unconstitutional. To deny someone necessary medical care is cruel.

Trumpists are just more overtly cruel this time around, and prisons are an easy venue to enact that cruelty.

Still, one can have an opinion about whether it's a good practice or a bad one; or get ahead of the curve by saying it's a good idea before the issue's gone before the courts.

I kept explaining to her that for one, even if there is such a thing, it's probably super hard to get approved, and what does it matter? It's not like every other person in prison is getting this, it's not costing us a fortune to "convert" everyone in prison to a new gender.

It's just ridiculous. The lies and the misdirection, deliberately making people fall for stupid shit, when we're worried about the country surviving as a democracy. Dictator For a Day is not in the Constitution, FFS.
