Nixon was terrible; Trump is a thousand times worse. It's bad enough that the Supremes have immunized him from at least some of his crimes.

This was my first thought, too. Pardoning this MFer goes against her basic nature. I cannot imagine her agreeing to do that.

It would be a horrible decision, far greater than Ford's decision to pardon Nixon because it would double down on a wink & nod to Executive criminality. Ford, of course, had no idea Trump would come along and try to destroy the country but a precedent was set that the President of the United States can crime and get away with it.

Trump's crimes are more odious than Nixon's tipping into treason IMHO. Agent Orange rubbing shoulders with every dictator out there is something Richard Nixon would never have done. Nixon might have been a paranoid crook but he was not kissing up to the Russians or trying to kill NATO.
