I will never forgive or forget seeing nurses having to wear trash bags and re used one-use masks to care for critical patients housed in the gift shop of a hospital because there was no other place. Having to rig ventilators to share between 2 patients. Having to treat any patient with symptoms as if they had COVID because there were no tests, no swabs, no reagents if you had the equipment. The terrified patients in line for a vaccine because they read on the internet that it would make them sterile or had trackable microchips in it.
