Some on the Harris team say that top White House aides arent sufficiently coordinating Bidens messaging and schedule to align with whats best for the vice presidents campaign.

With all due respect, anyone on Team Biden worrying about their feelings needs to grow up. Joe endorsed Kamala immediately and is ready to do anything to get her elected, imo. This election is just too damn important.

(29,529 posts)They can be weird and egotistical. They often are thinking of their next gig too. Many will go on to other things in the midterms and they have their loyalties and little teams.

(2,124 posts)Take this with a shakerful of salt, given the source (Axios definitely tilts right). It falls into the 'Harris campaign in disarray" category, especially as a significant number of Biden's current staff is out stumping for Harris at this point.

(107 posts)Just my opinion. Their org and choices of stories come off as strange. Monetization oriented?

(119,697 posts)Even if there were some minor disputes, even Axios, with its stupid bullet points, admits at the very end of the article and contrary to its own headline,
"Despite the sore feelings among some Biden aides, much of the president's staff is actively rooting for and trying to work toward a Harris victory.
There is frustration about coordination among senior staffers on both sides, but much of the mid-level staff is working well together, people familiar with the dynamic told Axios.
The White House denied there's tension among senior staffers."

(23,891 posts)Kamala has and are trying desperately trying to stifle it.
F**k them and the high horse they rode in on. When all of this is said and done, we all need to start going after these traitorous news outlets that harped on tRUMP nonstop, free campaign ads out the wazoo, non-stop, and strip away their publishing rights, as they didn't give equal space/equal reporting (if anything, just to be fair and unbiased, and they are not being that way).
Ocelot II
(119,697 posts)Trump is threatening to revoke the broadcast licenses of networks whose reporting he dislikes, in blatant disregard of the First Amendment. Let's not be even suggesting anything like that.
SWBTATTReg
(23,891 posts)thing going on, they give 10 minutes to tRUMP, then 10 minutes to Kamala. It's not like that anymore.

(483 posts)That article has a lot of words. It has a lot of bullet points, too. Lots of speculation. Lots of nothing.
Way, way down in the article we find this:
"White House spokesperson Andrew Bates told Axios: 'President Biden endorsed Vice President Harris immediately after leaving the race, rejecting other approaches that would divide the party, and has attested to her leadership abilities and continually made clear his support for her.'"
In other words, the entire theme of the article is BS, the usual "Democrats in disarray" idiocy.

(3,314 posts)Like TENSION is so weird!?? Ooooh, there's TENSION! So scary!
How could there not be tension? I would like to see any group of humans in a situation with this much going on at one time who would not feel and display "tension."
It will come out okay in the end between nearly all of these people, and I can't think of any other two leaders who would do a better job at conveying a tone of "we're all on the same team."

(15,025 posts)campaign up and running - that HAD to have plenty of direct help from Joe Biden. It just did. I've never seen the Dems move this fast or this efficiently.
Remember that our media is ALL ABOUT shareholder PROFITS, with nothing, and I mean nothing in terms of fiduciary responsibility for TRUTH in news reporting. That's how it is.
This is why we have the 25 right-wing polls that just got released - oh, Trump is AHEAD now! Oh, the Harris campaign's honeymoon is OVER (60 minutes). Oh, Trump is now AHEAD in battle ground states!" Oh, young black men aren't gonna vote for Harris, they want Trump...
And so on, and so on, and scooby dooby doo!
A horserace is GOOD for shareholder PROFITS, don't you know.
This is also why shit like Trump's calls to Putin, the blackmail story about the GOP reps and senators honey-trapped into compromising things like the drug-fueled sex party Gaetz took the HS junior to. And Trump's massive deterioration?
Nope. Bad for PROFITS. We gotta have a HORSERACE, folks!
I'll tell you, the billionaires on Wall Street are rubbing their hands in GLEE, because they are cashing in on this campaign like no other in history. Harris has already raised $1 billion. God only knows how many billions will go down the Wall Street media PROFIT rat-hole before November 5.
The whole thing is a huge PROFIT game for billionaire parasites and big Wall Street fund managers, and they are cashing in!
Make no mistake - these orc-like Wall Street greed lizards care NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING for this republic. Not at all. They are in it for the money.
The only thing that is even propping up truth is the MSNBC crew, and they are there at suffrance, only because there is a market for them, and their ratings are good. But those ratings dip? They will be gone. Because again, the fiduciary responsibility of the senior executives at the NYT, NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX is ONLY to generate shareholder PROFITS, nothing more, nothing less.
