Saw an interesting discussion on Velshi earliler today -- re tfg and Musk having something in common ...

Basically, both are frauds. Both present themselves as being brilliant businessmen who got rich by creating successful companies. tfg did nothing of the sort, and Musk made much of his money just because he had lots of investment cash to throw around when others had less.

Both have grossly exaggerated opinions of themselves and their business acumen.

I've checked Velshi's MSNBC page and that part doesn't seem to have been posted as either video or transcript. Didn't get the names of the speakers as I tuned in late.

Most of the companies that he invested in were already around and profitable by the time he invested in them, and in many cases (such as SpaceX) the people who really do manage the company have told him to stay as far away from their staff as possible.
