Police: the armed man arrested in his vehicle near the Trump rally yesterday had a fake license plate on his vehicle characteristic of the sovereign citizens movement. He also had numerous passports and driver's licenses with different names.

There was no actual assassination attempt (i.e., shots fired). Reputable sources are saying the registered Republican was arrested on illegal gun charges.

Questionable sources quote the Trumpster sheriff, who is playing up that angle.

(It just flew by in General Discussion and if I didn't have to let the dog out, I'd find it and paste it for you.)

A Sovreign Citizen with guns and fake docs. May even have thought he could go to the Orange man's rally and not be checked for his armory.

Vem Miller is the guy:

Local outlets say that Miller is a registered Republican. He has a master's degree from UCLA and campaigned for Nevada's state assembly in 2022, but lost in the primary election, according to local daily newspaper The Press-Enterprise.

Bianco said he is part of a right-leaning anti-government group and considers himself a sovereign citizen, someone who does not believe they are subject to government laws unless they agree to them.

Meanwhile, Miller told the Southern California News Group on Sunday that he was "shocked" to be arrested and accused of trying to hurt the former president whom he is a supporter of.

There WERE tons of bots which sound like typical Vlad, Xi, Kim, etc BS. To get rid of them I reported each to You Tube. I know it will not do anything but it made me feel a lot better and released some stress. I have chosen to avoid the news until Nov since I have been dropping tons of weight over the last 6 months (84 pounds today). My choice is confirmed every time I do see/read anything political.

There is the 2024 Women's March on Nov 2nd and I would like to be healthy enough to attend in person.
