The economy is actually doing well. Illegal border crossings are down.

But the average voter doesn't know this. And that's a problem because it hands these two issues to DonOLd when he's done nothing to deserve it.

It's also not a coincidence that the corporate media's coverage of the economy has been horrendous since long before Biden dropped out. They've harped on inflation ad nauseum, but not the fact that pay checks have kept up with it for quite a while now, never given the Dem administration credit for the "soft landing" they achieved with no recession, or the very impressive jobs numbers. They also run with every rightwing talking point on immigration but fail to call out the daily lies that maga dishes out.

Without this "help" from the media, Harris would be winning on these two issues and way ahead. That's my answer to those who ask how it can be this close.
